Who We are?
Society for Community Development (SCD) is a non Profit, non political, and non governmental organization has been working in different districts of four sister provinces since 1999. Society for Community Development registered as an NGO under the Volunteer Social Welfare Agency Ordinance 1961 and Societies act 1860 .The main areas of work are Child protection, Water and Sanitation, Health, Education, Disaster management, Rights of Women & Children, youth empowerment, Skill development and poverty reduction.
Our Mission & Objectives
To create an enabling environment for the marginalized and disadvantaged communities where every one has free access to the resources and can exercise their rights freely in all field of life by empowering them through self identification of their skills and potentials.
To ensure gender equality in all developmental initiatives.
To protect environment degradation by environment conservation and education approaches
To promote good governance in social organizations through capacity building program
To provide rescue, relief and rehabilitation services to earth effected communities
To enhance capacity building of organization
To empower and protect the children and girls working and living on the streets.
To provide skill development facilities to the youths of Pakistan through different vocational training's.
To reduce the uproar from communities through providing skill training's and providing micro financing facilities.
To provide health facilities to the communities with special focus on women and children
To provide education facilities to the communities with special focus on women and children
To ensure and protect the children and women from being abused, exploited.
To end violence against women.
